2024 Journals

The journals keep piling up year after year. This year was no different.

If nothing else comes of any of it, there are the journals — with notes, quotes, todos, doodles, and drawings made by my kids when I forget it laying open on the dining room table. Those are the most priceless artifacts from keeping a journal: a dated history of their childhood art.

I filled nearly 6 notebooks this year. Not too bad.

What notebooks do I use?

I’ve been using these notebooks for a couple years now. My preference is based on two things: they are cheap and the pages are thick enough to not show too much bleed-through for most inks and markers (except Sharpies and anything alcohol-based).
